What type of security guards do you have?AFPS provides well trained, certified, licensed armed and unarmed guards for commercial, industrial and residential properties as well as vehicle patrol.
What type of insurance does your business have?AFPS carries a $3,000,000 general liability insurance policy and $1,000,000 in workers compensation insurance which is more than required by the BSIS.
Is American Force Private Security licensed?Yes, American Force is licensed contractor as required by the State of California.
How do you screen your guards?AFPS conducts a complete background check through the DOJ, a reference check, and finger print/drug screening for each prospective employee so that we can maintain the highest quality guards in the industry.
How long are your contracts for?AFPS offers long term contracts, short term contracts, and month-to-month.
Are your rates competitive?We offer cost-effective, highly competitive rates which do not limit the quality of service provided.
How do you supervise your guards?Our guards are required to check in and out with a dispatcher at the beginning and end of their shift. In addition, our Field Supervisor conducts random checks on all the guards. AFPS also uses Detex at the request of the client to assist in the monitoring of the guard. We also offer live monitoring to help monitor the guard and the job site at an additional cost.
What type of uniform do your guards wear?Our guards wear a black jacket and black slacks, with a grey shirt and black tie, as well as a yellow polo in warmer weather. We also offer executive (with blazers) and plain clothes guards.
What type of equipment do your guards carry?Our guards carry a duty belt which includes a set of handcuffs, a flashlight, pepper spray and holster for our armed guards. Additional equipment is supplied upon request from the client and the nature of the job site.
Is the same guard always assigned to my account or do you rotate them?AFPS rotates our guards at most of our accounts to assure that each of our guards is familiar with the location, but if a client requests a specific guard, we are happy to do so.
